Lenin Monument

In my Monument of Moscow series and also the start of my new Leniniana series, here are some pictures of a monument to Lenin, V. I.

Approaching to him on the dark side.

The monument is located at a certain education facility in the North of Moscow, not far from my place.

And now from the sunny side.

Lenin is maybe the most well-known revolutionary leader for workers' and peasants' rights.

If you are a working person, that is, if you have to work to make a living like I do, everything that you have (or what little you are allowed to have by the international capitalists, free market crazies and by governments) by way of vacations, freedom, decent pay, housing, benefits, medical care is all due to Lenin and his efforts at the turn of the 20th century.

Without him and the Russian revolution, the capitalists and the ruling elites the world over would never have allowed working people to have even as little as they have today.

Unfortunately, ever since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, people's rights and opportunities have been and are being progressively curtailed by the international capitalists and by national governments controlled by them and now having a free rein to do as they choose (not that they will escape what's coming to them:) and that is a comforting thought).

This is a nice monument at a secluded location, almost like a private one.

Approaching from the front now.
