It's going to serve now as my kitchen clock, and here it is already on top of the refrigerator.
The same key opens the case and winds it.
It is on an after-market plywood stand which appears to be solid and well enough made.
Lid opened.
Now on the counter top with various glassware and possibly even liquids.
I am positive it is NIB aka new in box.
This is Vostok ship clock No. 2 but the first one USSR made.
Made in January 89.
I think it has been in conservation; in any case it has been keeping good time so far, even though I had a small problem with the seconds hand which got loose and even snagged on the minute hand but I managed to fix it.
