Couple Hours at an Abandoned Estate and Park

Here is a photo account of a few hours at an abandoned estate and an adjacent park somewhere in Moscow

The estate dates well back to the 18th century and is described in more detail in this Russian language wikipedia entry - Покровское-Стрешнево.

In the park there are lots of Ruddy Shelducks even with Shelducklings.

Pilgrim's tavern truck.

The right wing of the manor house on the estate, for some reason I missed the central building.

Two graves by the gates.

A picturesque wall with a grand gate.

Lunch in the Pilgrim's tavern.

Homely food, eatable but nothing too special.

Lunch for two.

Kefir-based cold soup known as okroshka.

Estate geese chased by some boys.

Here is a visual aid as to how to feed birds in the winter.
