March Squirrel

As opposed to the March Hare (who's a nut), here is a March squirrel... with a nut.

A red squirrel but still wearing a gray winter camo, except on the paws.

below is not a squirrel but a duck...

Two Pandas at Moscow Zoo

As of June 2019, Moscow Zoo now has two pandas.

So, apropos of nothing, I went today, June 21, 2019, to the Moscow Zoo and, among others, made some pictures of the two pandas (all through the enclosure glass).

The pandas are on a 15-year loan from China (which may seem a bit optimistic as none of the two pandas the Moscow zoo had previously in the 1960s and 1970s survived for 15 years - one lived only 4 years, the other 13 but let's hope for the best).

Two pandas are pictured here but I forget which is which.

It was 30+ Celsius today and the pandas seem feeling a bit of heat.

In particular, this panda (the larger one) is strongly desirous of going into a shaded and cooled enclosure.

Above looks like a goose but here are different types of ducks.

These too look like geese to me.
