In My Restaurants series, where I occasionally and as funds allow explore the food scene here in Moscow, and mainly at the lower end of it, here is the story of a lunch at The Sixties Café and Cocktail Bar styled as an American diner inside, that was had on February 8, 2019.

The lunch was a black burger...
...Coffee Americano Х 2 and...
…in between the two coffees - a Margarita cocktail.
And now in greater detail.
The Sixties Café and Cocktail Bar in the American 60s Style is a yellow two story building almost in the center of the Old Arbat in Moscow and from outside it doesn't look particularly American, the Americana is mainly confined to the interior.
In the summer, you can usually see some motorcycles parked in front of it, and not café racers or some Hondas either, but mainly Harley-Davidsons - frequented by this kind of bikers probably for the reason of American styling, and there is also a large still photo from the film Easy Rider inside.

On the walls is Americana; the Easy Rider photo is seen on the left of the café logo.
The full name of the establishment seems to be the Sixties American Café and Cocktail Bar.

Lunch is served.
The burger is a black double cheeseburger served with fries and catchup.
It is not a poor burger but not impressive either, just okay, I guess.
The patties seemed to be okay, the lower bun seemed a little too crusty.
Fries are also okay.
Coffee.
Ordered Americano but looks and feels more like Espresso.
Half-lunch later!
Ordered also a Margarita.
I can and do make Margaritas myself in the kitchen.
And I have to tell you I like mine way more.
Their Margarita seemed very strong - I suspect they saved on lime juice.
Also, it is served with ice in it, and though such a variation exists, I like it more without ice which interferes if you try to drink from glass without a straw.
On the other hand, the rim was properly salted - but it again it seems wasted if you have to drink it with a straw.

And that's that of that particular lunch experience. Not too bad overall but nothing spectacular.
Say good-bye to RUB1,500!!!
