In beer: Brewlok Caramba Milkshake IPA with Coconut

In my beer and beer photography series, here is another local craft beer called Brewlok Caramba Milkshake Coconut IPA by Brewlok brewery that I enjoyed some time earlier this summer already in the past month of June 2020.

A Caribbean Milkshake with coconut flavor.

Not too bad but not as good as these two consumed yesterday or especially this one enjoyed at about the same time as the subject.

 It has a characteristic Brewlok taste and some bitterness.

But the feel is very pleasant just like a milkshake.

Out and About in Moscow July 14, 2020

Yesterday I had to chase and dispatch some simple errands here in Moscow, mainly out of necessity, however, I did manage to squeeze in a two beer lunch on government funds.

Two beers.

For the first course there was a pint of AF Brew Sangre Fresca which is supposed to mean "fresh blood" and is a tomato gose style beer, very tasty but maybe not enough abv.

For the second and last course there was a fancy glass (not of my choosing) of The Big Fat 5 Imperial IPA from a Dutch brewery het Uiltje or something like that, was good too.

And here I am chasing those errands to dispatch them.

I should add some notes here about the outfit.

The two questionable areas are the length of the trousers and the jacket sleeves.

As regards the trousers, which are chinos, I decided to leave this full break length where the trouser leg sits on the top of the shoe with a fold (or two).

My personal opinion is that the correct length is where the back of the hem just reaches the top of the heel straight, without any folds, but the front naturally has a full break meaning a visible fold as it sits on the top of the shoe.

This pair could be altered to be shorter, in other words, hemmed higher, and still comply with my ideas on the correct length but I hate the short trouser look more than I dislike the triple break and basically can't be bovvered.

The jacket sleeves are definitely a couple of inches too long but here again I decided to let them be that way for reasons of practically: altering them will be a very costly proposition with an acceptable end result by no means guaranteed as they have functional buttons (mother of pearl too) on the cuffs, i.e. a surgeon's cuff, and can't be shortened from the cuff but only from the shoulder which is expensive, requires skill, and also could throw the check pattern out of alignment on the body and the sleeve and I can't have that.

So, on the date first above written, just went on a long trek through the famed VDNKh facility in Moscow with an equally long detour to the Moscow Botanical Garden.

Lots of flowers and fountains; the one below is the Friendship of People's fountain.

This one is the Stone Flower fountain which was renovated last year I think.

As I said lots of flowers everywhere, and also lots of people, hardly anyone is wearing a face mask, the whole Coronavirus thing seems like a distant memory.

Here is a place to eat out soon - the Moscow Sky Restaurant.

And yet another fountain - the Golden Ear fountain.

In the Moscow Botanical Garden - people nearly trampled all of the grass in their effort to take pictures with flowers.
