This Yantar (meaning "amber") is of the 2002 vintage but was bought in 2012 as a NOS specimen in a box and with a manual.
The product lineup in 2002.
No need to call these phones -- the factory is no more.
The particular design is marked here with a check mark.
This is an alarm clock running on a venerable caliber 6973 movement with 4 jewels -- which was in production from the 1950s right up to 2005. Some Yantar clocks went for export too, sometimes under different names, such as Corsar, etc.
It is working and I use it according to its purpose -- as an alarm clock. Pretty loud ticking too.
A bit dusty under the bell thing.
In place of a more usual button to turn off the alarm it has a lever under the bell which, when deployed, obstructs the alarm hammer stopping the signal.
Manual and a warranty coupon [in Russian].
