Picture-and-video heavy.
First the approaches to the Zoo on a grey and clouded winter day, not too cold though, still below zero on the Centigrade scale aka Celsius.
A view on the Zoo's central pond with lots of ducks.
Entrance.
Panorama.
Llama.
Some kind of white pheasant.
Steppenwolf.
Hi! Now it's looking at me.
Terrarium. I wasn't using my flash so no discomfort was caused to the animals.
"Bird eater".
The elephant that wanted to get out.
At a bird house.
Small penguins.
Here's how you can play with them.
The best view in brown tones. "Ground ducks", there are many of them in Moscow.
Donkey.
An insect eating a slice of an orange at something called Exotarium.
The camera battery ran out at this point.
Also, we saw monkeys, apes, foxes, polar wolves, sheep, etc.
There were no-shows, especially big cats. Some animals didn't look happy, the zoo is pretty small territory-wise.
Not too bad a place for a walk in winter. Minus - all outside cafes are closed.
