I have this post about my 10+ year-old Casio calculator watch -- Casio CA53w-1z.
But now it appears that Trevor Phillips of the GTAV fame (the less said about him the better wink wink) wears the exact same watch as you can see in pictures posted on the internet.
Well, what's good for Marty McFly is good for Trevor Phillips, no? Not that I think they have much in common. Or maybe all that travel back to future, forward to the past and present didn't do him much good, he grew up... and became Trevor?
You're wrong. This is rather Casio CA 86. My watchmaster resuscinated it recently. Mike

DeleteHowever, I should say that the events depicted in GTA V definitely take place in the late 1990 to early 2000s and CA 86 was long out of production while CA53w is still being made (or at least can be bought new), so trevor is far more likely to have the latter.
Also he's not the only character seen with a calc watch. that lady runs a bail skip recovery business also has one.
I mean it is far more likely they wear something that is still actually available as new.
