In Photos: Travel Photography: Recreation Park at Verbilki

Here is more in my travel photography - sights of Verbilki, a small town north of Moscow, on a cloudy October day in the now almost over year 2018.

For this wide-angle photography, am using my hand Sony HDR-AS50 action cam.

First, Novo-Nikolskoye, a village on the way to Verbilki.

And now Verbilki's Recreation Park.

"A gift from the remote past! This great boulder was brought here by the glaciers during the last ice age".

Pond Life: Pictures of a Pond

My short photo-study of a small pond with pictures taken last summer.

No real reason, except a summer pond looks good at the end of a Moscow winter.

Travel: Dubna River

More travel north of Moscow -- photos of the Dubna river at Votria.

The Dubna river as can be seen from the bridge over it at Votria village, north of Moscow.

On August 16, 2014, a sunny and hot late summer day.

The river is shallow, perhaps in need of dredging, but is fast flowing at this point.
