Here is my 1990 Agat Stopwatch 4295V.

BNIB, aka brand new in box. Also NOS, aka new old stock.

Bought in 2013 for RUB 600.

This is a mechanical stopwatch, one-hand, for use in measuring time intervals with a summing function. 

Works as intended.

16 ruby jewels.

Manual in Russian.

A bottle of Martini Bianco which seems to have developed some greenish hue, no?

Bottled on: 25.10.12 - over three years back!

Unopened.

Staraya Moskva Vodka, also unopened.

Bottled on: 21.11.12. Also 3 years ago.

Record holder... about half a bottle of the cognac Remy Martin.

Bottled: 15.01.01. Fifteen years ago!

About 30 years of combined aging pre- and post-bottling!

Display Casebacks

Today, some views of display casebacks on watches from my collection.

I don't have many of them but I have some.

Display casebacks on affordable watches is a relatively recent thing. Many of them are made in China.

Personally, I like display casebacks. It is good to be able to have a look at the movement, especially if it is a chrono.

Here is my 2004 Vostok Troyka watch.

Usually, display casebacks are screw-on case backs

Not so is this 2012 Slava 2428 which has a snap-on display caseback.

The display caseback on my Strela 3133 Poljot Chrono is "sapphire glass".

And this Molnija pocket watch is all see-through... but it is plastic crystals.
