Here is a lookbook for a day in a cold month of May in 2020 in Moscow.

Street-wise, good to blend in with crowds of guest workers.

Also maybe described as gopnik-style.

Real Man's McDonald's Breakfast Eating Out in Time of Covid-19!

Here is a real man's (me) McDonald's breakfast in the time of a Covid-19 pandemic!

Eating out is now reduced to McDonald's Drive Through windows which stayed open here in Moscow but with some new contraptions, the purpose of which looks like to be reducing contact as much as possible, and it is a good thing too; who's to say otherwise.

So here goes the breakfast: one double Fresh McMuffin, one double Egg McMuffin and Pork Patty (2), three coffees - latte, cappuccino and a double espresso with no sugar, and also 400 ml of orange juice!

House-keeping: Persistent error messages concerning ads.txt, also country specific extensions on Blogger sites!

House-keeping: Persistent error messages concerning ads.txt, also country specific extensions on Blogger sites!

I have persistent error messages concerning ads.txt on my blogger sites, like in the picture.

First of all, it claims I have to add ads.txt files.

BUT my adsense is integrated through Blogger and these are Bloggers sites we are talking about and I thought Blogger was supposed to do that for me! In fact, it's stated somewhere in black and white!

Anyway I still uploaded ads.txt files through blogger.

But there is a catch as you would expect when you are dealing with any of the Google "products".

These error messages seem to distinguish between my, say, vremax.blogspot.COM and vremax.blogspot.RU blogs and always these messages have to with my ".RU" sites.
But when I go to my Blogger sites on the web they are always COM sites and never RU sites.
What is all this supposed to mean except a giant cluster mess with leftovers from the past!

Also I in my sites I have two versions of all my blogs ".COM" and ".RU" and error messages always concern ".RU" sites and advertising has been turned off on most of the latter as if it's my fault.
And when I try to re-add them to list of My Sites with adsense I am refused upon a review with claims that those sites to do not provide original content but are mirror sites?!

It wasn't ME that created this ".COM" and ".RU" (or any other country-specific extension) duality.
It is totally out of my control yet I am persistently bothered with these error messages as if it were somehow my fault and not blogger's or google adSense's.

I am concerned that it negatively affects my adsense operation in general - even on my ".COM" blogs.

So what's going on again, anybody have any idea?

I don't have the foggiest!

Taste-testing Dvin Armenian Cognac

My bottle of the Armenian Dvin cognac which was already mentioned in some of the previous posts on this blog.

A gift box.

A solid paper box but just that... a box, no glasses or anything.

Minimum age of Cognac distillates is 7 years, maximum, 35.

A nice amber color.

France doesn't allow this to called a "cognac" because "cognac" is a controlled appellation whatever, but, make no mistake about it, cognac it is and a fine one at that and even much better than most premium French brands at XO level as far as I am concerned.

Enjoy the classics!

In the kitchen.

I like everything, first aroma, second aroma, tasting and after taste.

Notes of dry fruit and some nuts as well as carnation in aroma and taste.

Dry plum or prune in taste.

50% but easy to drink.

This blend was a beloved of one Winston Churchill, Britain's PM, during World War Two.

Per wikipedia, it is claimed that during the Yalta Conference, Winston Churchill was so impressed with the Armenian brandy Dvin given to him by Joseph Stalin that he asked for several cases of it to be sent to him each year. Reportedly 400 bottles of Dvin were shipped to Churchill annually. This brandy was named in honour of the ancient capital Dvin, and was first produced in 1943

Other sources also claim that, in addition to Churchill who consumed a bottle of it a day, Frank Sinatra and Agatha Christie were also patrons.

While these exact anecdotes may not necessarily be true in every detail, yet it is clear that there must have been some foundation to them.

I am using a 2018 Soccer World Cup glass to drink it.

Pineapple juice to freshen the taste buds without affecting them in any way.
