Fan M65 Lookbook

Here is my fan M65 (and derivative) jacket lookbook.

I own two myself, modern renditions, one black and one olive green and am going to post pics but most images are not mine, pulled from the Internet, kudos to their owners whoever they are.

Also, I am interested in m65 worn avec classic menswear.

My preference is to wear them oversized for winter which allows lots of layering in the winter in addition to the liner, and a size smaller for summer sens the liner.

In CM context, above Bruce G. Boyer, below a little bit of rest

Gaspar Noe, though he thinks too much of himself and his movies; that Hollywood is mostly crap doesn't mean that his movies are automatically much better, although they could be but not automatically.

Another overrated filmmaker below but maybe not anymore; thinks his fortunes are declining even in Horriblewood

I guess obl has to be included as a notorious wearer of M65s, though I personally don't like camo'd M65s, certainly not in woodland camo.

Simon Crompton, a British menswear dude, he replied to me once on Insta, so Muchos Lovos, though looks too short for him.

My preference, as I said above, is for an oversized M65 fit, however on others true-to-size or even smaller also seems to work.

Below, said to be something called M75

ra I guess

Yours truly

Forgive me, but there is something unclean about the one below, still a good outfit.

From a Finnish movie, though am not a fan of this type of M65 styling

My Fan Barbour Lookbook

Bing thinking about a Barbour jacket or two, one for town, one for country, so here is my fan Barbour lookbook.

Note, pictures not mine, pulled from the Internet, hat tip to their owners.

BTW, I myself am still undecided as to whether Barbour is "based or cringe", and whether am more likely to buy if it's a majority opinion "based" or "cringe"... get it?

 First, PRO (more or less)

Nigel "Brexit" Farage, looking good!

Military looking barbours

Looking beautiful in a Barbour, Lady Di... and she did already

Simon Crompton, a menswear icon, he replied once to me on Instagram

Guy from Newcastle, former military, told me once some 25 years ago over a drink or two, the Argies shot down a couple of chopper-loads of these Barbour-clad SASs when they went in to land on the Malvinas or wherever it was 40 years ago which I guess makes Barbour even more interesting and storied and contributes to Barbour's notoriety.

Spicy girl's hubby or whoever he is now.

These are also said to be Barbour... but... where is the patina... no wax just 60/40 cloth

Second, CON

How not to style a Barbour jacket from some random larper plying his wares on the Internet, for some reason, he thinks he's got something to sell fit-wise.

More will be added
